How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Moved from mechanical engineering and aircraft turbine engine design to grow a technical services business allied with our court reporting services. Videotaping was the first of these technical service offerings. Services expanded to include courtroom presentation. We next identified a need to improve poor audio and video recordings provided to us as evidence. This caused our expansion into audio and video forensic analysis.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our video services are offered as part of our in-house, complete litigation support package. Court reporting, videography, presentation services, videoconferencing, exhibit preparation. We can provide support for everything you need to prepare a case for court. This allows the attorneys to focus exclusively on the legal aspects of their case. Our corporation, Alliance for Litigation Support, Inc. includes Alliance Court Reporting and Bour Technical Services.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Three locations. Carmel (Indy North Suburburban), Indianapolis North Side, Indianapolis Downtown. We can also arrange deposition meeting space throughout the state of Indiana.
