Founded 1837 as the first Catholic parish in Indianapolis and Marion County
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church is the oldest Catholic parish in Indianapolis and is where heritage and hope meet. We are located in heart of downtown Indianapolis, across from the Indiana Convention Center and just a couple blocks north of Lucas Oil Stadium.
Daily Mass is celebrated at 12:10pm Mon-Sat with confessions before from 11:15am-12pm. Confessions are also heard on Saturdays from 4-5pm. The weekend Mass schedule is as follows: Saturday evening at 5:30pm and Sunday at 8am, 11am, and 7pm.
